How many pages are in a
Memorial on Paper?
Counting the front and back of each page, there are
typically 6 to 10 pages in our funeral programs
depending on the style. The pages are as follows: Cover,
Obituary (Biography), Order of Service, About The
Person, Remarks, Conclusion, Expressions of Gratitude &
Acknowledgements, Repast, a photo and ending page.
What kinds of information goes on each page?
The obituary is a brief outline of the person's life such
as where the person was born, where the person worked
or retired from, etc.

The page entitled "About The Person" could contain
anecdotes or short stories about who the person was,
his or her accomplishments or the person's outlook
on life.

The page entitled "Remarks" is a page to write a
dedication to or about the deceased person; such as
a poem, letter, etc.

The gratitude & acknowledgement page is an
expression of thanks from the family of the deceased
person.

The section entitled "Repast" which will state where
the family and guests will meet afterwards for
dinner or other such gathering, if there will be
one.
How
much do the obituaries cost?
Prices range from $12 to $36 each, depending on the
style.
What
is a typical purchase?
Because our products are designer obituaries, customers
typically purchase small quantities (for immediate
family), and supplement their orders with paper
copies, sold in multiples of 20.
What about errors?
We
will do our best to check the document for errors.
However, we cannot know the correct spelling of proper
nouns such as names for people or places. As such, we
request that you [who places the order] review the
document carefully before submission, as we are not
responsible for errors sent to us.
Will the uploaded photos look the same on
the funeral program as the photos?
Typically, the photos printed on the
funeral program will look like the submitted photos, but
will probably have to be resized to fit the template.
We do not attempt to enhance photos.
What
is the turn-around time for getting an order shipped out
(or how long does it take to get orders out)?
It depends on the style. Most of our styles take about 2
- 3 days to make and ship once the proof is approved.
We ship via overnight mail.
Can I see a proof (draft) of the obituary?
When we receive an order, the first thing we do is email
a proof of the document to the customer for approval.
When it’s approved, production begins.
Can samples be ordered?
We do not offer samples.
How are orders placed?
All orders are placed through our web site. Obituary
information and photos are submitted via the web.
Do you do refunds?
Because the nature of our business is customized,
refunds are only accepted if the complete order in
returned in perfect condition with a copy of your
invoice, and reason for return. A $50 refund fee will be
charged. Shipping charges are not refundable.
What kinds of payments are accepted?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and
Visa credit cards. All prices and payments are in U.S.
dollars.
